Introducing Our Newest Intern!

Posted on

Hi! My name is Alaina Kennelly and I will be interning with JONAH for the Spring of 2020! I am currently a second semester junior at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and I am double majoring in English Critical Studies and German. I am originally from Superior, WI where I graduated high school from in 2017. I chose to study at UW- Eau Claire because it is the perfect distance from Superior and has allowed me to become an independent adult while also still having the ability to go home when I want on the weekends. Not to mention, UW- Eau Claire has great academic programs and opportunities and the area is beautiful with lots of things to do. My hobbies include traveling, reading, writing, running to train for a half marathon and listening to all different kinds of music.

I am very excited to learn everything about JONAH and to be involved in many of the amazing things JONAH does. I will be focusing a lot on writing and putting together the content for newsletters, the website and social media platforms. I will be doing some research articles as well which will give me the opportunity to not only spread information but to also learn about different topics that interest me. I look forward to possibly bringing in some perspectives from college students about the issues that JONAH focuses on. I am also here to help in any other area where I am needed. I look forward to meeting more of the people involved in this organization and I am very excited to get started!
