SUMMARY:Canvassing Training
DESCRIPTION:In 2025\, JONAH intends to focus on (1) getting to know residents in the community more deeply and (2) connecting with residents so that they know our issue concerns by utilizing strong\, clear messaging. We feel this will successfully grow our collective power\, build community through unity\, and make our collective voices stronger for advocating to those with the position to make changes. One way we intend to accomplish this is by doing some deep canvassing throughout the Chippewa Valley. \nCanvassing for JONAH looks like going to doors in pairs and listening to what people have to say. We offer information based on their interests. We never tell people what to think or do. \nTo assess our capacity and get us ready to go out\, we’re having a Canvassing Training on June 11 from 4:30-5:30pm. You can attend in person at the JONAH Office or via Zoom. We are looking for people who live anywhere in the Chippewa Valley. You can choose the community and times you want to help!
