Encounters Art Exhibition Opening Reception
November 13 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Encounters: Telling Marginalized Stories through Art is an annual community art exhibition where people can encounter powerful stories through the work of local artists.
Join us November 13-16, 2026 at the Eau Claire Area Hmong Mutual Assistance Association (ECAHMAA), 1320 W Clairemont Ave, Eau Claire.
Every person carries a story that reaches beyond the labels others place on them. This year’s exhibition explores the question: What defines who you are beyond labels?
Friday’s Opening Reception with the Jones Tones:
A veteran band with a distinctive style and personality that blends into a powerful whole. When the band gets its groove on, you can hear the foot-tapping acoustic-electric sounds from the era of rockabilly, Nashville country and western, early rock and roll, and of course, classic Chicago blues.
